A little update!

I just finished recording an acoustic-based CD with 9 new songs for Ghostmeat Records, recorded and produced by Russ Hallauer.   Players include KWM Band members Dean Johnston and Andrew Vickery with special guests Hallauer, Rob Keller, Scotty Nicholson, and Adam Poulin.  It is being mastered next week by John Keane.  I’m also working on a rock record that is being mixed at Chase Park Transductions by Matt Tuttle.   At the end of July, Iperformed “in the round” to a sold-out house at the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville with ’90s pop icon Tiffany.  Very surreal.   At the end of September, I will perform several shows at the pretigious Pensacola Songwriters Festival with 80 of the country’s top songwriters.  Should be great!

My first blog

hello folks…this is my debut blog on my new website…here I was all along thinking that blogging was something two lovers did behind closed doors…nevertheless, I must express sincere gratitude to any and all who still have Hope and Faith.. and by Hope and Faith I don’t mean a couple of strippers from Albuquerque. I’ve chosen a wicked trail where the vistas are fleeting and few and far between…and it’s too late to turn back…the paths are erratic and I left no bread crumbs ….so big black hats off to anyone who chooses or has chosen the indifference of the hardscrabble road when the easy trail bekons loudly for more out of shape hikers with the allure of a comfy bed, 3 squares a day and a respectable credit score.… I wholeheartedly appreciate your kindred spirits … maybe it isn’t all for naught after all.
